In 2015 two of our players attended international modern backgammon tournaments. Since 2016 modern backgammon became the 2nd official discipline in our club.
„Slavia Backgammon Club“ team is organising once a year „Slavia Open“, a free of charge online backgammon tournament. In 2021 both the finalists represented "Slavia Backgammon Club" and in 2023 21 club players joined the tournament.

More and more "Slavia Backgammon Club" players start playing modern backgammon as well, attending international tournaments. 20 of our players have travelled to tournaments in different countries in 2023.
In 2023 „Slavia Backgammon Club“ has organised 6 domestic tournaments, forming the first modern backgammon live championship. 25 players did participate in those tournaments. Bogidar Iliev and Nikola Milev have won 2 tournaments, while Rosen Stoyanov and Svilen Todorov got a single tournament win.
